Challenge

Mitigating Supply Chain Risks for High-Stress 100 kA Distribution Systems

Modern heavy industrial applications demand highly complex, high-capacity electrical distribution systems that can withstand extreme thermal and mechanical stresses (100 kA short-circuit capacity).
Relying on traditional, fragmented supply chains for such custom, high-spec motor control centres poses severe risks of delivery delays, inconsistent component quality, and standard compliance failures. If lead times dragged or components failed, the end-user risked massive operational downtime and stalled industrial expansion.

Solution

98% In-House Component Manufacturing via HECON EVO MCC

Harju Elekter deployed its newly developed flagship low-voltage switchgear family, the HECON EVO MCC. To eliminate supply chain vulnerabilities, we utilised our own sheet metal factories and advanced busbar processing units to build 98% of the system components completely in-house.
Acting as a certified Siemens SIVACON Technology Partner, our design and structural engineering teams leveraged standardised, universally adaptable system architecture. This allowed us to achieve deep customisation and extreme precision without relying on external component vendors.

Result

In-House Production Secures Reliable Timelines and Top-Tier Quality

The customer received a plug-and-play motor control centre that perfectly matched their high-amp industrial infrastructure requirements. By manufacturing almost the entire system under our own roof, Harju Elekter helped ensure high build quality, secured an incredibly reliable delivery timeline, and eliminated external logistics bottlenecks.
