Location:
Engineering and manufacturing of a high-capacity Siemens SIVACON S8 low-voltage main distribution board for an industrial facility, combining compact switchgear design, high-current distribution and efficient thermal management.
Delivering High-Capacity Industrial Power Distribution in Limited Space.
Modern industrial facilities depend on a continuous and stable electricity supply to support demanding manufacturing equipment and production processes.
For this project, the customer required a 3150 A low-voltage main distribution board connected to a 2000 kVA transformer. The equipment had to fit within a restricted substation footprint while accommodating high electrical currents and the associated thermal demands.
A conventional switchgear arrangement could require additional installation space and create challenges related to heat dissipation, electrical efficiency and future expansion.
Compact Siemens SIVACON S8 Configuration with Optimised Internal Design.
As an authorised Siemens SIVACON Technology Partner, Harju Elekter engineered a customised main distribution board based on the Siemens SIVACON S8 platform.
The solution incorporates 3150 A main busbars, a 3200 A Siemens air circuit breaker and outgoing NH strip fuses rated from 200 A to 400 A.
Our engineering team used in-house sheet metal manufacturing and advanced busbar processing to optimise the internal arrangement, supporting efficient current distribution and effective thermal management within the available space.
The resulting configuration combines high-current capability, TN-S earthing and IP30 protection in a space-efficient low-voltage switchgear solution.
High-Capacity, Space-Efficient Power Distribution for Industrial Operations.
The customer received a compact Siemens SIVACON S8 main distribution board designed to support demanding industrial electrical loads while making efficient use of the available substation space.
By optimising the switchgear layout and thermal characteristics, Harju Elekter delivered a practical solution for high-current distribution without requiring an unnecessarily large installation footprint.
The project demonstrates our capability to manufacture specialised industrial low-voltage switchgear that combines high electrical capacity, operational reliability and flexibility for changing power distribution requirements.
