Background
E.ON currently has about 45,000 network stations, each with a lifespan of around 40 years, which means that they need to replace over 1,000 stations per year. Therefore, E.ON Energidistribution procured network stations in the winter of 2018, where Harju Elekter AB won about half of the workload.
Deliveries started in the summer of 2018 with an average of 10 stations a week.

Technical description
The stations delivered to E.ON are sheet metal stations for transformers between 200 kVA up to 1,250 kVA. The transformers are purchased by E.ON and delivered to Harju Elekter’s factory in Estonia.
Harju Elekter makes the air-insulated switchgear itself, while E.ON buys and delivers compact switchgear to the factory for installation.
The low voltage switchgear is a strip switchgear with Pronutec strips.
The station has a concrete foundation with a sheet metal house in any colour.
Some special stations are also supplied with wood panelling and larger roof slopes.
