To support the growing energy demand in the expanding district of Veddesta, northwest of Stockholm, Harju Elekter delivered a prefabricated triple-transformer substation to E.ON Energidistribution AB during spring 2025.
Our product ensures a reliable power supply for the new urban area and enables rapid deployment with minimal on-site work.
The technical solution consisted of a complete E-house substation designed, manufactured and factory-tested at our Västerås
facility. The E-house was engineered with a curved roof to align with Veddesta’s architectural plan, demonstrating our ability to
combine technical performance with aesthetic requirements.
An internal challenge in this project was integrating three transformer bays within a single prefabricated structure while
maintaining compact dimensions and efficient cooling. Through close collaboration between our design and production teams, we
optimised the layout and achieved both technical and visual compliance within a tight schedule.
